Kellogg Tests New Packaging
Yesterday in Detroit, the Kellogg Company began a six month test of what it hopes will be a more consumer-friendly, space-saving box for its cereal brands. The Kellogg Company is testing these new boxes with participating retailers in the Detroit area to gain valuable consumer and retailer insights which could eventually lead to the roll out of new packaging that not only saves space in the grocery aisle and at home, but will also help protect and preserve natural resources by using an average of eight percent less packaging material per cereal box.
Granted, it’s not a lot but even at eight percent, it’s a good start!
