Eco-Friendly Ideas for Father’s Day
Father’s Day is celebrated every third Sunday of June, which means we have the one for this year coming up on the 21st.
Have you gone Father’s Day shopping already? If you haven’t, then let us just say — enough with the ties, socks and the high-tech gadgets this time. Give your Dads and significant others new exciting presents with an eco-friendly spirit.
Here are some suggestions —-
Buy Dad organic clothing. If you’re really hell bent on getting your dad ties and socks, then at least pick organic. Not only is this material so much in the rage right now, it’s also very environmentally friendly. Organic clothing is available at H & M stores.
Pamper Dad with Organic Soap. You might think this is only a gift Mothers will love but we’re pretty sure father’s will be thrilled to get a set of organic soap in cool, natural manly scents. As a bonus, get your dad naturally made shaving cream with eco-friendly shave brush too. We found one from Grassroots.
Comfort Dad with a cool fleece. Warm blankets, who doesn’t love ‘em? We found one made from organic cotton with natural silk charmeuse…so soft to the skin. You can check it out at Organica DeLuxe
Plant a tree with Dad. Not only will you have a fun activity to do together and bond on Father’s day, you get to keep this wonderful memory by nurturing that which you have planted everyday. Get Dad a Miniature Blood Orange Tree from Organic Style.
