Greenpeace Guide Ranks Gadgets’ Eco-Consciousness

imagesEstablishing itself in 2006, the Greenpeace Guide recently released its ranking for the following TV, cell phone, gaming console and PC manufacturers. The rank is based on how the companies dutifully enforce consciousness and practice regarding e-wastes and toxic chemicals, among other things.

Of the 17 companies, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and Lenovo have failed in the rankings as these companies seemed to have failed at eliminating PVC and BFRs from their products even in 2009. Nintendo though earned the lowest, which is where it has been in the previous years.
