Australian Town Bans Water Bottles

A rural town in Sydney Australia has posted a ban on bottled waters last Wednesday. Locals of Bundanoon applaud themselves for an almost unanimous choice by its residents to ban this, after a town-meeting discussion. This is the second place in Australia to do so. Just moments before this decision, New South Wales state also proposed a ban on bottled waters on all state department and agencies, at least.
The town meeting in Bundanoon was held with some 350 locals. The whole town itself has about 2,500 residents, with the place located just south of Sydney.
This new ruling should make another dent on the beverage industry. To keep the economics in check, others are encourage to reuse and recycle water bottles instead.
Some are opposed to the ban though saying it takes away consumer rights and choices.
