Samsung Announces New Eco-Management!
Samsung electronics has announced a new green management initiative with a growing list of goals that intends to make Samsung a leading Eco-Friendly company by 2013. The “Eco-Management 2013” plan focuses on achieving low carbon economic growth and laid out 4 core green management objectives as part of the plan. Included in the list of objectives are reducing gas house emissions by 50 percent and cutting total indirect gas emissions from all products by 84 million tons over a 5 year period. These facts and hopes should be very popular and positive news for green planet lovers worldwide.
The company has unveiled its new Eco plan during a ceremony at Samsung electronics corporate headquarters in Seoul. They expressed their devotion to this new project and their passion to achieve the best possible Eco-Friendly growth that is available!
Another big part of the green plan is going to be the newly developed Eco rating on their products, it will all be based on a strict evaluation period and in order to be considered a Good Eco-Product the products must exceed basic industry requirements including eco friendly features and therefore it will get the correct rating so people know exactly just how green friendly the product in question is before they consider a purchase.
