Eco-Tableware for Picnics
I really, really love this latest find. These are cups and plates that are made of renewable plant resources, which I’m sure isn’t a brand new concept…lots of people have been using paper plates and cups before. But this on from Bare takes the extra mile. Not only are these things really pretty. You know what they’re made of? Sugar cane! And some parts “recyclable clear plastic cups made of 20% post consumer recycled plastic and 14oz oatmeal colored cups made from bio-based plastic that are compostable at commercial composting facilities.” Whew.
But you get the idea. They are very much eco-friendly. Bare even has a set made from Bamboo, which, believe it or not, can stand the heat of the microwave. See, these are not just great party cups and plates. They can replace your everyday utensils too!
