I think this is a great idea. You can never be too eco-friendly these days. Its time we start thinking about garbage consumption and making a more eco-friendly world.
I guess I’m just all hyped up on making our environment better after reading a book, by Kathleen Wilson called Rumer & Qix: The Race to Terra Incognita.
This book really makes you think about what we need to do to save our environment.
Now i’m not a tree hugger, but I do like to do what I can to be eco-friendly, and after reading this book, I feel a bit motivated.
The story is set in 31st century. Rumer, a 16-year-old apprentice reporter for the Global Quotidien and her tiny sidekick, Qix, are alone in sensing that reports of mysterious nature sightings do not bode well for the planet. After she receives a coded message from across the dimensional divide, Rumer secretly sets off with Qix for the rainforests of Peru in search of answers. Before long she finds herself in the middle of an epic battle of wills between Dr. Bigco and his council of mega-conglomerates and Mother Nature and her devoted sprits.
