Warrior Camp at Lake District!
Eco warriors are set to gather at a very special 5 day Earth event in Cumbria. The lucky attendees can learn man skills such as using kayak canoes, raft building, climbing skills and even understanding police tactics. This is a very special event where anyone can come along and learn very popular skills to help them live Green and enjoy their time outdoors with some very practical skills to help them on their journey.
Some other practical skills on offer are self defense, metal tool making and how to find wild food, all of which are very important for camping or hiking tricks and for just life in general, it is good to always be prepared for whatever situation could come up at anytime. People should really attend these classes and learn as many as possible.
There will be animal rights discussions, skills for ecological restoration, and a special talk on bike maintanance and vegan cake making which is bound to attract a lot of people. If you plan to bring young people with you there is a wide selection of activities happening for all ages which should appeal to anyone including a specially designed area for young people, a space for workshops and discussions, there is even a bicycle powered cinema which will be providing entertainment.
Earth First! was founded in the United States in 1979 and the special event is due to take place Wednesday 19th right up to Monday August 24th, if you can make it please do and if possible bring a donation for the main gate so these wonderful events can keep running and we can keep helping our planet.
