Eco-Fashion week!
The Eco conscious and fashion lovers are going to love a 2 day event happening on September 15-16, not only will the attenders be treated with some of the hottest fashion styles around but everything will be Eco-Friendly! This will be officially the only fashion event that is all about Green Friendly. This special event is set to last two days and will feature a large selection of Eco designers showing of their spring/summer 2010 collection.
The event is going to take place at Soho, NYC’s downtown fashion and shopping district. Some of the popular designer names attached to this show will be Bodkin, Izzy Lane and House of Organic with many more to be announced soon. The idea attached to this Greenshows 2 day event is that it needs to be shown that the planet does not have to suffer for fashion in anyway and that designers need to take responsibility in showing how fashion can be created with natural resources and zero waste.
This is sure to be popular and is bound to attract and even convince fashion lovers that by using natural resources you can create the same designs that you love and even better. It sends a good message to fashion designers worldwide saying look what we can create and with no damage to our shared planet.Â
The Greenshows is partnered with Rainforest Action Network to host the opening night, with their new campaign Don’t Bag Indonesia’s Rain forests, Ran is also trying to send an important message on the night. If you are big on everything fashion then maybe it is time to follow the best style and go Eco.
