Three Comprehensive Green Living Books
Ever since this green movement hit everyone in the planet, there have been plenty of resource materials, like books, written about it. But because there are so plenty to learn from, I first did not really know where to start. Now if you’re like me and you would hit the books every time you’d like to learn something new and become familiar with what you are to embark on, the list (of books and references) to choose from can be overwhelming. What’s the best resource to learn about Green Living? What book is the easiest to comprehend and absorb at once?
I’m gonna help you out by narrowing down the choices to three. I like to keep things basic, so these are three comprehensive literature that’s so easy to fully and grasp:
Green from the Ground Up: Sustainable, Healthy, and Energy-Efficient Home Construction
If you would like to know what “green building” really is, this book is a good source for understanding the process, from the design to the the final construction. This is especially helpful to those who are undergoing residential construction. Â And the book is easy to follow, with tons of illustrations, case studies, pop-ups and sidebars.
Both professionals  contractors and average, regular home=-owners could learn a lot from this book.
Green Your Home All in One For Dummies
This book is for those who would like to maintain and achieve green living by making improvements and changes in the household and one’s lifestyle. The book includes very practical tips, simple fix-its and solutions, projects, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be “sustainable”. Very informative.
Green By Design: Creating a Home for Sustainable Living
This book is more of a bedtime reading material, to help one absorb and understand green building and green living even better. There are plenty of case studies included in this book, including examples which home owners may take inspiration from.
