Lawn care, rake away the pollution!
With autumn fast approaching the leaves are falling into peoples backyards and all over towns worldwide, they can be a beautiful sight and in some ways what people most associate with this time of the year, its the perfect atmosphere for a walk around your area and to watch the falling leaves. However, this time beauty may not be all that accurate as the amount of falling trees can eventually lead to some quite negative rubbish which starts to pile up so for leaves and general lawn care advice of the Green kind, read on.
For a start one important word of advice, burning leaves may see like the easy way out but its illegal in most places and for good reason to. Burning leaves releases some bad toxins into the air which will ultimately lead to a very negative environment, nobody should be breathing in bad air so lets keep it clean and stick to the old fashioned method of raking away leaves, slow of course but better.
When it comes to your own individual lawn care, think organic all the time. Be sure to clean regularly and constantly check for weed growth as it can become quite troublesome especially if you keep a flower garden or vegetables.
Use organic fertalizer for your lawn and when cleaning do it as many times as possible and stick to non toxic cleaning agents, it should always state on the labels what it contains so be sure to read before you buy. Even when in your lawn you should always recycle so keep seperate bags for wood, paper, glass etc, the end result will be a better planet so think Eco.
