Why Buy When You Can Rent
With savings and budget being a real issue with the household today, it seems as though it is more practical to just rent things that you will only have occasional use for. Many environmentalist do say that sometimes, this practice is better as it also helps eliminate or reduce wastage and carbon footprint.
Here are some of the things you can actually opt to just rent, instead of purchasing:
1. Textbooks – This is the number consideration. Especially with today’s skyrocketing prices on books, students will have better use of the money to rent the references they need, than buying a brand new book. Other students may also be able to make a little money out of this if they also rent out their own book supplies. Its a give and take market. You can check Craiglist for a listing of books that students rent out. You can also check bookstores and the local library. There are online services such as Chegg.Com.
2. Going on a camping? How often do you really do this? If it’s not a regular activity, you may do well to at least rend your gears instead of purchasing one. Camping gears don’t come cheap and it would definitely be unpractical if you buy this only to use once a year. Check camping shots for rentals. Most actually offer this since it is good business to them, too.
3. Solar panels cost a lot, even with the prices already reduced. Yet this is something many homes and companies are encouraged to have installed. Companies like Citizenr? REnU are offering rentals for solar panels which eliminates the hassles and headaches of purchasing and securing permits.
