A train trip thats good to the planet

There is a big change happening tomorrow in London when the ordinary everyday train journey people take back and forth to their places of business will be replaced with an Eco train trip with a difference, the first of its kind and will make history. Eddie Stubert a Cumbrian Transport giant is behind this train journey which will last two days and transport fruit and vegetables from the UK to Spain and will be the longest single rail journey to happen in Europe.

Refrigerated rail containers will pass through the channel tunnel for the very first time tomorrow with this original journey.  This special 30 container train will carry an assortment of fruits and vegetables and is going to help prevent tons of carbon been released into the atmosphere from a regular journey by lorries.

This typical journey would actually need 30 lorries between Spain and England which would result in a large amount of carbon footprints been pumped into the environment which is toxic for our planet and will only increased the threat of global warming so a clever journey like this will really aid in this global threat.

Figures show that in one year one weekly Eco train trip will actually prevent 8,600 tonnes of carbon been put into the atmosphere, thats a huge figure of the right kind. If only more companies doing deliveries would see the impact that a small change like this would do for our planet and quickly follow suit, after all its our planet only we can save it in the long run.
