Sailing and recycling merged!

Making Eco news today is something positive which should give people idea’s on what to do when it comes to recycling. A billionaire Eco warrior is all set to sail across the pacific ocean, but this wont be any ordinary voyage for he will be sailing in a catamaran made from waste and plastic bottles, now that is the ultimate kind of Green voyage.

The billionaire in question David De Rothschild will be taking on his journey from San Francisco to Sydney a team of scientists and adventurers, they will all be traveling together on this large 60ft vessell made partly from 12,000 plastic bottles, all of which have gotten a long lasting life put to good use.

The trip is estimated to take up to 4 months and is due to begin  at the start of next year following many tests to make sure the vessel is sea worthy for the long voyage. The hope behind this journey is that people will start to take notice and see the way materials can be used so they can reconsider dumping to the waste as soon as they are finished, there are so many other options people can do and this journey is just one of the many good things that can come out of recycling.

On this amazing boat even the glue is harmless to the environment made from cashew nuts and sugar while the solar panels and wind turbines have been custom designed for energy. Lets hope this amazing Eco voyage gets the all clear soon!
