Plywood Christmas Tree
Christmas is fast approaching and sometimes it saddens me to imagine that some people are still cutting trees for the winter. Cutting trees takes a longer period to replace, especially if people forget to plant another. Since we are always encouraging people to live in a sustainable environment, having plywood tree doesn’t hurt either. Raow created a really creative Christmas tree, he used plywood. To replace the Christmas trees which are not environmental friendly at all? Although in some regions, people are already used to buying ready-made Christmas trees without having to cut trees. The plywood Christmas tree can be flat-packed for easy storage and can be re-used for the next Christmas season.
“Plywood flat-pack Christmas trees designed by Raow. To be an environmentally friendly replacement for plastic Christmas trees. Available in two sizes, the plywood Christmas tree comes in small at 600mm high and the medium at 1200mm high. The Christmas trees are cut by a CNC machine and are configured of three fins that interlock together to create the form of the Christmas tree. The Christmas trees are based on the silhouette of a tree that has been deconstructed and reconstructed with cut plywood strips of varied lengths pined together with beech doweling pins to form the tree figure.”
The Christmas tree is really beautiful. It can stand out in any corner. All you have to do is light it up with some decorative lights and you’re ready to go. I’m quite fascinated by this creating. I would have never thought of using old plywood to a Christmas tree. This will help our environment, thus enabling people to breathe more. Raow
