Worlds first Gingerbread house
With the festive season soon up us many people are starting to get into the spirit, but when that spirt turns green friendly our joy tends to lift a little bit higher. The Ritz Carlton Charlotte Hotel has made Eco lovers everywhere proud with the brand new and first of its time annual environmentally friendly, all organic Gingerbread House.

Standing 10 feet high by 14 feet wide this is truly a one of a kind. The impressive structure was built by Jonathan Gellman of Skyward Builders and the Ritz Carlton Charlottes Dan Spiegel supervised the entire construction process.
The culinary structure was created by using some of the following ingredients:
- 70 pounds of organic white eggs
- 100 organic eggs
- Four pounds of salt
- 120 pounds of shortening
- Two gallons of organic milk
- 24 ounces of cinnamon
All these organic ingredients and so much more. Some more appealing designs include LED lights and a green vegetated moss roof inspired by the already eco-minded roof of the Ritz-Carlton. Available for public viewing right now be sure to make it along now or even next year to see this amazing design, remember it is now going to be an annual display and sure to attract crowds who wish to see something unique this holiday season, and of course the Eco lovers who praise a creation like this which remains planet friendly.
Do something special with your free time this holiday season and check out the magnificent Eco display at the Ritz Carlton Charlotte Hotel now! You wont regret it, and be sure to spread the word!
