A longer life for trees and grass
Its always interesting to see how exactly we can give a longer life and recycle even the simplest things. Its a big part of what living the Green life is all about, instead of just throwing things into the waste we should learn to reuse them. Its due to this fact that scientists have discovered we can actually use grass and trees to capture carbon and produce energy so dont just cut your long grass and dispose of it, your grass has a bigger purpose to fulfill.
A large 1.1 million research project is underway, led by an expert on the environment and plants. The projects to be undertaken will investigate cropped trees and grass to see if both can be used to generate renewable energy, and also if they can trap carbon into the soil for long periods of time.
If the results turn out to be positive then this will be a huge break through for the environment and the ever increasing battle against global warming. Tons of energy and money will be saved yearly which will all result in a more positive atmosphere overall. We really need this to work out the way its needed to, now more than ever.
CO2 has proven to be a major hazard and a strong cause of climate change so more ways are been thought of to remove it from the atmosphere, it was such a discussion that made this project be developed. The project is due to take place this year, lets hope the results are in our favor.
