Cell phone recycling
With millions of cellphone users worldwide one might have to wonder, with all the new models coming onto the marketplace all the time and people constantly changing phones what exactly happens to their old models? On average people tend to change their phones every 6 months or less so you have millions of unwanted cellphones worldwide. Instead of just tossing them aside why not do the smart thing and recycle them, its free, easy and Eco-Friendly.
What people fail to realize is that any average cell phone is made up of different parts that can all be recycled one way or another, from the chip right down to the batteries. Its therefore a relief to know that its a simple to recycle a call phone as it is to mail a letter.
The first thing you need to do is look into an organization that is close to home, now many require you to send in your cell or you could just stop by and drop it in. If your phone is still in good condition and can be used you may exchange is for a small amount of cash which is an added bonus so make sure you take good care of your cell for when the time comes to recycle it.
If you go to Eco-Cell for example, you can send them your old phones or check out their wide selection of different locations where you can just drop them of, they had a special collection box which you would usually find outside popular destinations like malls. Make sure to give your phone a longer life and recycle.
