One of the complains people who make the change to a greener lifestyle complain about is prices. It seems that saving the environment comes with a cost, however that is not always the case, there are a variety of things we can do to save money while living green at the same time. The first simple way to save money and the planet has to be in the area of water. Bottle water costs a lot of money from the processing to the purchasing so why not make the switch to tap water, you can save a lot of money and do your part to preserve water. Just think of the impact it would have if everybody turned to tap water instead of bottled.
Doing things online such as renting movies, downloading music from iTunes and even reading the news can save money and our planet. All of these save in their own individual way, choosing online news instead of papers saves trees, the same as Discs and DVD’S avoids pollution that piles up every year as tons are tossed aside and it all creates a hazard.
The average person uses hundreds of batteries during the year and all these are filled with toxic chemicals when they are put to the waste bin. Why not choose rechargeable batteries, they might be a little more expensive when you buy them first but they are Eco-Friendly, can be re-used and will save you a lot of money in the longterm. Every little bit helps for the environment so make daily changes as often as possible.
