I’m sure you’re planning your travel plans now that summer is a few months away. Make the most of green-living by looking into green destinations to enjoy a satisfying and fulfilling summer.
First, make sure that accommodations support green initiatives. Look for hotels, resorts of camps that meet the green standard guidelines. You can check it out here.
Think about the trips you are going to make. If you are going to one area, how often will you be using a transport to and from places? The greenest ones to visit are the ones that allow for less use of cars and other vehicles, but more of walking and really enjoying the area the most basic way. This helps lessen the impact you make to the environment.
Check if the establishments around the city you are visiting has a very ample recycling effort. I personally am truly impressed when stores, restaurants, malls and other establishments have this.
