Get in touch with nature
Getting outdoors and becoming one with nature is truly a moving experience, one of which people neglect to do due to a busy schedule or perhaps bad weather is causing them to stay at home. However, being outside is not all just about fun and fresh air, there is a lot to do and take notice of while out and about, most of which will help the planet in someway. Why not step outside the front door and try some of the following.

An interesting activity that the whole family could enjoy is bird-watching. You can track all the beautiful species in your area and actually pass on your information to researchers, this then assists them in understanding their needs and habits better, therefore helping their population remain strong. Have a camera ready, and even bring the kids, teach them to respect wildlife and learn some bird names along the way.
Wildlife watch helps not only birds but other animals who may be in fear of extinction. Help them on their research by tracking animals around your home tome, from frogs and birds to various reptiles and mammals. Its an excellent way to help these beautiful creatures surviving.
A nature walk is another interesting way to enjoy the outdoors. You can plant a tree along the way and keep the lungs of the earth alive. It would also be helpful to recycle what you can along the way if you could across trash, there is a lot of rubbish in woods and quiet areas that builds up over time, so do your part while out walking. Most of all enjoy yourself and always think Green.
