Its nice during the day to relax with a cup of coffee, you will often see people dashing about with cups of steaming hot coffee in their hand. Look closer at the label next time, if its Starbucks then you are witnessing an Eco-Friendly company at its best. Known for being the largest coffeehouse company in the world and established in over 49 countries this business is really going upwards. Therefore its a great day for our planet to know just how much Green awareness is inside their coffee and stores.

Making news headlines once more after officially opening in Argentina the reputation and popularity just keeps building. Each time you order a coffee or tea from this chain chances are you will be drinking out of a reusable cup. In the US and Canada customers can even use their own reusable mugs for their beverage.

The goal of Starbucks is to really make a change in recycling habits and increase awareness amongst their staff and clientele and they have really made an excellent start. In 2oo9 the figures spoke for themselves with over 70% of their worldwide stores recycling at least one type of waste. That is a very high figure for a billion dollar corporation.

Impact can never be fully recognized and achieved without people joining together. Devotee’s of Starbucks and there coffee are loyal to the establishment and any new Eco scheme that they may entail. Who knows how there are going to involve in the near future and what positive changes they will succeed on. Make sure you visit your local starbucks and see what an Eco business really looks like.
