Helping our oceans
Our oceans are in danger, we are all aware of the lack of fresh drinking water but now another disaster has struck. There has been a large oil spill in the gulf and the oceans are suffering. Then there’s the helpless sea creatures who’s land is been destroyed more every moment that passes. The biggest problem is how quickly the oil is spreading. The rapids are moving quickly and causing further damage elsewhere.
People everywhere are starting to get involved by cleaning up at their local ocean and beach. Pollution is a dangerous thing with fatal consequences for people and sea life. Evening some Hollywood stars are doing their part with Kevin Costner joining the volunteers. This is no surprise however as his name has long been associated with the Environmental activists.
Kevin did more than just help out however. He and his crew demonstrated the first machine that actually extracts oil from water, up to 97% to be exact. The demonstration took place in front of people who were all amazed and excited about the possibilities that this machine could do for our oceans. They are hoping to give a test run out in the open waters shortly and provided the results are good there is going to be a lot more of this miracle machine soon to follow.
Finally there is some hope after all to clean up our oceans. In the meantime there is always a high demand for volunteers so if you have time to spare, spend it the Eco way and help clean!
