Eco-Products as Wedding Presents
The wedding season is upon us and for some people, this would mean buying a couple of gifts to give for friends and family members who are taking the plunge or getting hitched. Sometimes, finding the right kind of wedding presents can be such a hassle and a stress.
When lots of people probably instantly pick something for the kitchen, such as a toaster or a rice cooker, I personally would prefer giving the couple something that would be unique but also very useful and very convenient. I would also like to give the couple something that they would both enjoy and at the same time, something that would make a lasting impression.
Looking for some inspiration and ideas online, I found a few items from The Travelling Souk, which I think would make a wonderful wedding present. The site offers a good selection of products known as green gifts, meaning, these items are reusable eco products, made from sustainable material or recycled items. I think it’s great that we now have this option to get our friends organic gifts and considering how many people get married in a year, buying organic, even as a wedding gift, should actually have an impact on our carbon footprint. If only a lot of people are more into this, right?
Checking around for items at The Travelling Souk, I actually have taken a liking to their eco-baskets. For many newlyweds, having this would be such a welcome idea. The baskets are a great for organizing a lot of the things at home. And, if you have a couple who’s just moving in or is still settling down their new life as married to each other, the baskets would be really very convenient to have as storage bin. And you can easily just throw stuff in it, without messing up the homey atmosphere. The new couple’s hose would still look very presentable with it.
The website also offers eco-friendly table linens which are also beautiful and one of kind. This is the kind of linen you would actually not be ashamed to give to a couple celebrating an anniversary. I’m actually thinking, my grandparents would love the linens and their anniversary is coming up in July!
