The Trip of a Lifetime
With summer rolling in, a lot of people are surely planning on where to spend their few weeks off from work or school. Taking a vacation is always a good idea since everyone needs the break from the daily grind. A vacation is also great for families and friends to bond together.
For most vacations planned, going to the beach, a resort hotel, a recreational place or somewhere where one can relax and unwind is usually the first choice. Rarely does one plan a trip that’s also kind of an educational experience, which I think a lot of people are missing out on. Vacations only happen once in a while and I personally would love it if it were the kind of vacation that comes with a purpose, other than to take a relaxing break.
There are a few good ways to spend holidays like this. You can schedule a few trips to museums or historical sites and national parks. If you can afford it, a trip to a different country with a culture that’s unlike what you know, should also prove to be very enriching.
One way for you to make this happen is to find a travel company that can arrange for such a stimulating vacation. It has been suggested to me to seek out Shakti Himalaya if ever I do plan on going on a walking holiday with my family or friends in a culturally rich nation like India. And that does sound exciting because not only will I be exposed to their lifestyle and living conditions, my whole family will surely love this trip as it will also be a learning experience.
Shakti Himalaya organizes trips to rural villages like Sikkim, Ladakh and Kumaon and local tourists spots that really opens up and lets visitors see the beauty of India. You will get to spend time in a village where there is no electricity or proper plumbing, which is something that not all tourists actually get to experience. It’s the kind of trip where immersion also plays a big part and you get a taste of what it is like to be one of the locals. If you are a photography enthusiast, this would be the kind of trip you would enjoy because you will be able to take unusual photos to document and treasure.
Rare experiences like this truly make trips so much more worthwhile. It would be something to remember and tell your grandchildren about when you are older.
