Green up your Summer BBQ
Another bright, summers weekend is here. Time to invite some friends around and have a barbecue out your back garden. Food always tastes better when it is grilled, and your relaxing in the summer heat. To make the event even better though, why not try a few Eco-Friendly tips to green up your BBQ.

The first item on the list before you can invite people is the grill. The best options to keep it Eco are, propane, natural gas or electric. They release a lot less carbon emissions, helping you to enjoy your meal more knowing the environment remains un-harmed from your cooking.
A lot of people say you can not have a BBQ without meat. This is far from the truth. Try some veggie or tofu burgers, and for the side pineapple tastes amazing when grilled. Vegetables are the same so make the most of it. If your guests need meat though stick to small portions however, do not go overboard and try and point the way to healthier foods.
Organic food is essential for a proper green BBQ. Purchases all your foods locally. They are fresher this way, and its a good environmental choice.
Avoid plastic materials at all costs. If you are expecting a lot of guests then bring out your cutlery from the kitchen. This way there will be no waste at the end of the way, everything is simply washed and ready to be used again. The same rule applies for beverages. Avoid plastic cups and drink from thermals or glasses! Have fun at the Grill!
