Eco Animal Adventure
A new animated feature is coming to screens. Cuentas de la selva is an motion picture set in the jungles of Argentina. Greedy humans are deforesting hundreds of hectares to set up a lucrative business: a spa with every imaginable luxury for privileged guests. Camp foreman Oncade heads the team in charge of the criminal task of deforesting, he comes from Buenos Aires with his son and is oblivious to the fact that his tasks will create an ecological disaster upon the forest and its wildlife.

Based on the short story book by Horacio Quiroga, Cuentas de la selva is really telling an important story to children. The antagonists are the wild beasts themselves who face water and food shortage, while running the risk of extinction. They all band together to try and fight the deforesting happening in their homeland.
Despite the lack of Hollywood special effects and a big budget this is a story which has to be told, either from the novel or the big screen adaption. The magic of the movie is the simplicity in which animals and humans are drawn, the entire journey which the viewer is taken on is very moving.
This is definitely a welcome addition to the Eco movies which every person should watch and have in their collection. The clear message is delivered in a very entertaining way, and you are left with a need to help out the environment and get a clearer realization of what is happening all around us. It is a must see!
