A New Addition to the Eco Marketplace
As consumers we have our choice of Eco-Friendly computers, furniture, clothes, gadgets and anything else you can think of. Now however, new to the marketplace comes something we all use but never has there been anything environmentally friendly about it, until now. Samsung Electronics are the first of their kind to create an actual Eco Hard-Drive!
Most computers may contain some green parts, depending on the brand and other reasons, but never before has a hard drive like this one appeared. Known as the EcoGreen F4 (F4EG), this specially designed hardrive is due to hit the shelves in September for the rumored price of at least 120$.
The EcoGreen has a 2 -terabyte capacity which will allow users to store up to 880 hours of video, or 500,000 songs depending on their choice. It is composed from Eco-materials and the power consumption will be lower than any other model which has every being released previously, making it a big winner for Samsung.
The performance will be better, the size is greater than ever before and finally technology lovers can store all the information they want on a device which doesn’t come with built up parts from a random source. It is all natural with no harm to the environment. The noise is rumored to be nice and quiet, meaning some late night work is unlikely to get on your roommates nerves. This is truly an essential purchase for those who own a laptop or computer and are in dire need of a lot of extra room.
