Advice on Recycling
Recycling is a simple task but one which is often neglected, and in many cases avoided simply because someone isn’t fully informed about important facts. The majority of items can be recycled so simply put aside everything that your sending to the waste first. Then its just a matter of reading the sheet on your bins and separating the correct materials into each bin. It’s as easy as that and this should be done by everyone as often as possible.

Remember to hold onto any items that your local recycling plant won’t accept. You can then research into a location that will take them. Chances are your local supermarket could help so bring them along and find out. All it takes is a small amount of effort from everybody to make some good changes.
For glass bottles and cartons clean them out thoroughly so there is no chance of spillage or extra waste lying around. Glass can be organized based on the color of the bottles so put each selection in a different bag or container to make it easier. No need to worry about the labels, just focus on the correct bins.
For any electrical items, old equipment, batteries and similar items it would be recommendable to return them to the original destination as the shop may have a recycling section, or they could forward you to a plant that will take care of them. Try not to leave waste around your home. Recycling benefits everyone so always consider it an important to do task daily!
