Creative Ways to be Green
There is so much good to be done in the world, and so many ways to be green. Sometimes the unique and original approach will turn heads and spread the word in a quicker and more direct way. Why not try the creative approach to an environmentally friendly lifestyle and look at ways to save the planet while being an individual!
Being creative with shopping is always a good thing. Instead of fighting over regular fashion labels go with organic, hemp and bamboo clothing. Its comfortable, trendy and very unique. What about a water based alarm clock? No more batteries and frequent charging, all it takes is a quick re-fill from your faucet.
Don’t leave the garden out! A very welcome unusual addition could be the eye-catching LED mushroom lights.They come in different patterns and will certainly stand out in your garden or inside the home.
For designers and artists make a stand against climate change. Use your work on tshirts, banners, posters or however you think will bring attention. The more kooky and unique the better. Creating something for your car is a great way to send a message to bystanders and for once you will be glad to be stuck in traffic.
Finally, never forget the leftovers! Trays, bins, bottles and other materials have all plenty of life left so use them and be creative. You could turn them into water catchers, food or basic material containers. Simply throwing items away doesn’t help. Always think of ways to extend their life-span first!
