Coffee Benefits You May Not Be Aware Of
There has been numerous studies that show the amazing benefits to coffee drinking. It has been linked to helping reduce the risk of cancer, diabetes, liver problems and other diseases that may be life threatening. Because coffee has anti-oxidant properties, it is believed to be healthy and beneficial.
Recent studies also show that drinking more than three cups of coffee helps reduce the risk of developing basal cell carcinoma which is said to be prevalent in women. The effects can help with skin cancer, according to the American Association for Cancer Research, which says — “The antioxidants in coffee have been shown to reduce inflammation and inhibit cellular tumor growth. Foods high in antioxidants help protect the cells against oxidative damage caused by free radicals that can elicit cells to grow in a way that promotes cancer.”
Coffee drinking also suggests that when a person has at least five cups daily, risks of stroke can also be allieviated in as much as 25%. This is a study that has long been done. However, stroke caused by intracerebral hemorrhage does not constitute the benefits.
An increased intake of coffee also helps women manage depression by as much as 20%. Coffee boosts energy and helps a woman produce more seratonin in their body, according to the studies.
Coffee was also said to protects against cirrhosis, which is common among alcoholics and beer drinkers. This reduces the development of liver disease, so much more efficiently than drinking tea, studies have shown.
