The next time you get wooden boxes from the supermarket for some of your food purchases, don’t throw this away. You can repurpose this for many things, and some of what you can do with it are actually pretty simple.
Wooden boxes can be used as the perfect room decoration, particularly when you’re going for a vintage or rustic environment. Use a tinted wood sealer before you treat the wood with anything, so that the box can last longer. You can play around with these using colors, if you like, or keep it in its natural form.
Wooden boxes will make good side tables for the bedroom, or coffee tables for the living room or the outdoor patio. You can play around with as many boxes and scale this along with chairs and other furniture pieces.
Wooden boxes can be transformed into functional shelves. If you have a small space, and an even smaller budget, use this to save on cost and improve the organization of your stuff at home. These would look great in the kids’ bedroom, most especially.
Wooden boxes would make great planters, which you can plant flowers or vegetables, or even herbs, if your backyard is tiny.
Lastly, you can repurpose wooden boxes as trays or containers for the kitchen, or the craft room, or with the kids toys.
