Freeplay Companion Radio & Flashlight

Environmentally friendly living is not necessarily living that is different from the standard you are used to. That is the falsehood that gets parroted around a lot and it is products like this that show that environmentally friendly living does not require that much change.

This handy device is just $40 and allows you to get a radio, a flashlight and a charger in a single package. When you added the prices of those three things up separately running under conventional power, you would not only be paying much more than $40 up front for all of them but you would also have to pay a lot of money in order to keep them fresh with batteries.

The Freeplay on the other hand comes equipped with a solar panel so that if you use it outside, the solar panel will soak up and store a large amount of energy. Even if it’s dark outside, you can use the attached crank to power it up without the benefit of the solar panel.
