Lipodiesel Extracted from Humans as Fuel?
Most people would not care right now about looking at alternative fuel, considering the continuous drop of oil prices which have fallen to below $41 per barrel. We have heard of the various alternatives, biodiesel and fossil fuel and it seems that a surgeon has discovered something which none of us have heard and it goes by the name of “Lipodiesel”.
What is Lipodiesel?
There is nothing technical about this new form of fuel. Plainly put, they are fats extracted from the human body from people who get rid of extra fats through liposuction. Dr. Bittner actually used this on his Ford Explorer but a lot of questions surrounding the legality of its use is still in the air.
Patients do not actually mind Dr. Bittner’s cause for using their sucked fat for another use. He may is facing some legal issues since the U.S. prohibits the use of medical waste from powering vehicles and also on the case of his girlfriend’s practice of certain medical procedures without the proper license to do so.
It is not known how Dr Bittner went about turning the fat sucked out of patients into fuel. But he claims to have carried out more than 7,000 lipo operations – and according to Forbes, a gallon of fat will produce about a gallon of fuel, and drivers can get about the same amount of mileage from fat fuel as they do from regular diesel.
