Recycled Trash Bags
There are 436 different facilities located within the United States that are responsible for the production of plastics and other materials that are derived from crude petroleum. These facilities not only send millions of bad emissions into the air, but they also create billions of pounds of waste on an annual basis. While these all seem pretty grim, there are ways to cut down those numbers and one of them is to purchase garbage bags made from recycled plastic.
Recycled plastic garbage bags are about twice as efficient to create as their new counterparts and indeed if every person made as their next purchase recycled plastic garbage bags instead of one made from new plastic, we would save almost 90,000 barrels of oil; not an insignificant amount of oil by any stretch of the imagination.
Purchasing recycled garbage bags is just one of the many small things that you can do to really help out in the fight against climate change and other environmental effects of our actions that might potentially harm us in future times. It does not really provide that much in the way of inconvenience and it does not change your actual lifestyle in any practical way. It’s a common sense solution to a problem we all have.
