Windvertising Offers Advertisers a Greener Way to Save the Planet

 

Have you ever heard of Windvertising? 

It’s an awesome advertising concept which was developed by WePOWER, and uses wind turbines for outdoor advertising.   This cool concept reduces carbon emissions and saves advertising dollars.

According to the press release:

The concept for Windvertising™ is simple – WePOWER’s line of vertical axis PacWind turbines will power and display each advertisement. Specifically, each of the turbine’s patented, proprietary air foil blades will reflect an image. As the turbine blades spin (on a vertical axis) the images will come to life and appear to move. The end result is a dynamic, animated advertising image powered by clean wind energy. Additionally, the energy generated by the animated wind turbines may be used to power a corresponding billboard, creating a multi-dimensional environmentally sound advertising display which is the first of its kind.

Unlike traditional billboard advertising, which is flat and one dimensional, Windvertising allows for movement, but there’s also another benefit to Windvertsing – reducing carbon emissions and re-directing energy. By tapping in to the Windvertising concept, there’s the potential to power our homes and reduce CO2.  Because the turbines are compact, can be installed almost anywhere, are cost effective, offer clean energy solutions as well as capture winds as low as 2.3mph., and require little maintenance, it’s a win-win for everyone.
