Emirates’ new Premium Economy amenity kits feature hand-drawn designs highlighting endangered wildlife.
Emirates is set to refresh the onboard experience for long-haul travelers with a new collection of complimentary amenity kits launching globally in December. The airline will offer the redesigned kits to Premium Economy and Economy Class customers, blending passenger comfort with a strong conservation message.
The reusable pouches are made with bio-based materials, including cactus-derived components, and are designed as collectible items. Each kit was created in partnership with United for Wildlife to draw attention to some of the world’s most threatened animal species.
For the first time, Emirates’ Premium Economy amenity kits will include plant-based skincare products from wellness brand Aveda. The move marks another step in the airline’s effort to elevate its Premium Economy offering since the cabin’s debut in 2021.
Wildlife-inspired designs with a conservation message
The new amenity kits celebrate four natural environments—sea, sky, forest and desert—through hand-drawn artwork featured on each pouch. Inside every kit is a story card that introduces passengers to the endangered species highlighted on the design.
Animals featured across the collection include Bengal tigers, pangolins, African grey parrots, green sea turtles, manta rays, Arabian oryx, Western gorillas and many others. Emirates said the goal is to raise awareness about the threats these species face, from illegal wildlife trade to habitat loss.
Passengers can also learn more about conservation efforts by watching “Guardians” on Emirates’ inflight entertainment system ice. The series, produced in collaboration with United for Wildlife, focuses on wildlife rangers and conservationists working on the front lines to protect endangered species.
What passengers can expect onboard
The new 2025–26 Premium Economy amenity kit features a larger pouch with a wrist strap and a set of travel wellness essentials. Items include soft socks, eyeshades, earplugs, a dental kit, and Aveda lip balm, hand cream and hydrating face lotion. Several components, such as socks and eyeshades, are made from 100% recycled post-consumer polyester.
Economy Class passengers will also receive refreshed amenity kits on overnight long-haul flights. These colorful keepsake pouches include socks, eyeshades, earplugs and a dental kit, with sustainable materials used for packaging and accessories.
Emirates said the initiative aligns with its Environmental Sustainability Framework and its long-standing partnership with United for Wildlife. The airline is a member of the United for Wildlife Transport Taskforce and maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal wildlife trafficking, including a complete ban on transporting major hunting trophies through its cargo division.
