Prodezi launches Long An’s first eco-industrial park, setting new sustainability standards

Prodezi Long An JSC and Huong Viet Investment Consulting JSC (Huong Viet Holding) have officially begun construction on Prodezi Eco-Industrial Park (Prodezi EIP), Vietnam’s first large-scale sustainable industrial complex. With a total investment of $195 million, the 400-hectare project is set to transform Long An into a hub for environmentally responsible manufacturing and industrial operations.

A new standard for sustainable industrial development

Prodezi EIP integrates cutting-edge eco-friendly technologies to minimize its environmental impact. The park will utilize renewable energy sources such as solar power and energy-efficient systems to reduce carbon emissions and move toward carbon neutrality.

A state-of-the-art wastewater treatment system will allow water recirculation within manufacturing processes, significantly reducing resource consumption. The park will also feature green-certified buildings that prioritize energy efficiency, eco-friendly materials, and high operational performance.

By adopting sustainable industrial practices, Prodezi EIP aims to become a model for eco-industrial development in Vietnam and the Mekong Delta region.

Strategic location and modern infrastructure

Prodezi EIP is strategically positioned near key transport routes, ensuring smooth logistics and supply chain efficiency. The park is well-connected to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and neighboring provinces via:

  • HCMC – Trung Luong Expressway
  • Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway
  • National Ring Roads 3 and 4

This connectivity allows businesses in the park quick access to airports and seaports, reducing transportation costs and enhancing global trade opportunities.

First phase set for completion by Q3 2025

The first phase of the eco-industrial park is scheduled for completion and investor handover by the third quarter of 2025. Upon full operation, Prodezi EIP will serve as a manufacturing hub for industries such as:

  • Semiconductors and electronics
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Textiles and footwear
  • Food and beverages
  • Logistics and supply chain management

Its close proximity to the 100-hectare LA Home eco-urban area further enhances its appeal by providing a high-quality working and living environment.

Partnerships with leading Japanese firms

Prodezi and Huong Viet Holding have signed an MOU with leading Japanese companies such as Chitose and Toho Gas to enhance the park’s sustainability framework. These partnerships will support:

  • Advanced wastewater treatment solutions
  • Natural gas and energy-efficient technologies

By collaborating with international leaders, Prodezi EIP strengthens its position as a globally competitive and environmentally responsible industrial zone.

Milestone for Vietnam’s sustainable future

The groundbreaking of Prodezi EIP represents a major step forward in Vietnam’s commitment to green industrialization. By merging economic growth with environmental sustainability, the project aligns with global eco-industrial trends and sets a new benchmark for industrial development in Southeast Asia.
