Participants prepare to take on the Vermosa Green Run, supporting sustainability and youth development.
The Vermosa Green Run 2025 is scheduled for Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Vermosa Estate in Imus, Cavite. This highly anticipated event will feature multiple race categories starting with the 21K at 4:30 a.m., followed by the 10K at 5:00 a.m., the 5K and 3K at 5:30 a.m., and the 1K Dog Run at 7:00 a.m. The event is presented by AyalaLand Estates and Vermosa in partnership with Pinoy Fitness.
A Strong Commitment to Sustainability and Social Responsibility
The Vermosa Green Run began in July 2022, and over the years, it has made a lasting impact in supporting sustainability and active living. The event started by raising awareness for environmental issues and encouraging physical activity in the wake of the pandemic, and its focus has expanded over time to include youth sports and animal welfare.
This year, nearly 3,000 runners are expected to participate, marking a significant growth from 1,200 runners in 2022. Beyond promoting fitness, the Green Run actively supports the community, helping to protect the environment and promote causes that make a tangible difference.

Runners of all categories enjoy the beautiful course at Vermosa Estate, promoting fitness and sustainability.
A Call to Action for Sustainability
This year’s event offers an exciting new opportunity for participants to get directly involved in sustainability. Ayala Land Estates and the Makati Development Corporation (MDC) are encouraging participants to bring their used plastics for recycling. The collected plastics will be processed into sustainable construction materials, like fillers for concrete and asphalt for building green sidewalks and fences. Participants who donate plastics will receive a discounted rate on their registration.
Giving Back to the Community
The Green Run also continues its partnership with the Haribon Foundation, helping to support the planting and adoption of seedlings at the Kaliwa River Forest Reserve in Tanay, Rizal. These efforts contribute to long-term environmental preservation and biodiversity conservation in the Philippines.
For the third consecutive year, the Green Run supports the Pawssion Project, a non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes stray animals. With over 2,000 rescues and 600 shelters provided for homeless animals, the Green Run helps raise awareness for animal welfare and supports the organization’s mission.
Empowering Youth Athletes
For the third straight year, the Green Run is dedicated to supporting Takbo Kabitenyo, a non-profit organization in Cavite that develops young athletes. The organization has seen great success, with runners like Vince John Marzo earning a Bronze Medal in the 4x400m relay at the 2025 NCAA Track and Field Competition and John Mark Balogo earning recognition for his 5000m performance, possibly earning a spot in the National Track and Field Team.
As Takbo Kabitenyo President Noel Diaz shares, these athletes are making progress at the local and regional levels and are on track to compete at national and international competitions in the future.

The Vermosa Green Run offers something for everyone. Whether you’re an elite athlete or someone who enjoys running for a cause, the event provides an exciting way to participate in sustainability, youth sports, and animal welfare while enjoying a scenic run through the Vermosa Estate.
