In a pivotal moment for Greenpeace Southeast Asia, Yeb Saño has announced that he will step down from his role as Executive Director at the end of this month. After nine years of dedicated leadership, Saño leaves behind a legacy of inspiring environmental campaigns and tireless advocacy for climate justice across the region.

Inventor, currently the Deputy International Programme Director at Greenpeace International, has an extensive background in environmental campaigning and leadership. Having previously served as the Programme Director for Greenpeace Southeast Asia, Inventor is deeply familiar with the region’s challenges and opportunities, and will continue to drive Greenpeace’s mission to confront environmental problems.

Board Chair Wahyu Dhyatmika expressed his gratitude for Saño’s leadership, stating, “With Yeb’s guidance, Greenpeace Southeast Asia has built from strength to strength, and we expect him to continue to be a voice in the climate justice movement.”
